The War
After the success of the North Korean invasion on South Korea, the United Nations Forces were trapped in the southeast corner of the Peninsula in a land mass know as the Pusan Perimeter. With great amount of North Koreaʻs army was engaged around Pusan, UN Supreme General Douglas MacArthur planed a daring amphibious attack on the peninsula's west coast at Inchon. By launching such an attack North Korea would never expect it and they could easily get UN soldiers in Seoul, South Koreaʻs Capital, which would place the UN into a position where they could possibly cut off the North Korean supply line.
